Coffee Processing and Plant care

Location: Nansebo Worada is located in the Oromia region of Ethiopia, about 400 km southeast of the nation's capital. It's a sub-region of Harran Mount, known for its virgin forest soil, high altitude, and ideal annual rainfall. Most of Nansebo is covered in natural trees, creating a unique and fertile environment for coffee cultivation.

Plant Care: We don't use any fertilizer or pest control on our coffee plants. They grow at high altitudes under the shade of trees, which gives our coffee a rich and complex flavor.

Drying process: Coffee cherries are harvested with the coffee fruit and mucilage (sticky layer under the skin) still on the bean. The cherries are then spread out onto coffee-drying beds where it is naturally sun-dried.Once dried, the fruit and mucilage are removed from the coffee seed.

Ethiopian coffee is often called highland coffee for good reason. The country's various types of coffee arabica grow in just the right conditions, making Ethiopia a popular choice in the global coffee market. It's especially known for its gourmet, specialty, and organic coffees. Ethiopian coffee is famous for its rich acidity and body, as well as its aromatic and sweet flavor. It has distinctive winey and spicy notes, along with the highly prized mocha taste that coffee enthusiasts love.
